Our next talk/discussion in Sourton (our hub) is on Wednesday 1st May, 7.00 - 8.45pm.
Our theme this month is understanding personal power from a heart and soul perspective. Conventional ideas of personal power are usually conditional and aimed at influencing/changing others in some way. For us, true personal power comes from connecting with our heart and soul and is unconditional, whereby we stand in our power with no expectation (or pressure) that other people change. We therefore create a respectful and loving space in which they have the freedom and choice to change if they choose to.
Chris and I hope you can make it to explore with us this fascinating and potentially empowering theme.

This is a circular pilgrimage starting from High Down Car Park (half a mile east of Lydford, 200 yards the other side of the A386; it can be accessed via a short track from the main road). We will cross the upper reach of the River Lyd, here nestled between hills before heading up to Widgery Cross (Brat Tor) and on up to Great Links Tor, which is a great tor indeed with great energy. We will then sweep around and back down to 'pimply' Great Noddern and back to High Down Car Park.
Michael-Mary ley line
For those interested in ley lines, the first two miles of our pilgrimage will be following the main ley line in Britain, the Michael-Mary line which arrives on our shores just south of Lands End and travels ENE taking in St Michael's Mount, northwest Dartmoor, Glastonbury Tor and Avebury Stone Circle amongst many other sacred places, ancient and more modern. More specifically, the Michael and Mary lines are a pair of ley lines which weave in and out of each other and we will be following the Michael line, with the Mary line about two and a half miles to the south.

About the course
This pilgrimage takes in three stone circles that are part of an arc of seven across north-east Dartmoor. Scorhill, the best known of the three sits on the Mary (of the Michael-Mary) ley line runs all the way across southern Britain. This is a great opportunity to practice developing your awareness of earth energies.
